Apparently there is going to be a festival in Konoha to celebrate the Daimyo's birthday in a week or so. This is in fact a very clever rouse to get more money from him. So kids, this means we'll need to make stands, get entertainment, the works.

My forced three day vacation is starting now. I couldn't believe Shikamaru actually made the trek to my office just to tell me to take off for a few days. Could it be that he was actually concerned for my well being? NO. I realize now it was out of GUILT because I was getting a genin team. Luckily I've groomed enough people in the department to take over for me indefinitely. Once I'm finished (no, I guess a Sensei is never REALLY "finished" with a team) with this genin assignment, I'll probably go back to regular jounin status.

I hope I did Ibiki-san justice.

In happier news, my birthday (and consequently, Shikamaru's birthday) is in a few days. Guys, I have THREE missed birthdays to make up for! It has to be awesometacular, OR ELSE. ♥
